First of all, congratulations. Assuming you're paid up on bonuses, it's perfectly strategic enough to start the leaving process whenever you want. Obviously you should give at least 2 weeks of notice that you're going to be leaving, but that's a minimum, not a maximum.

If there isn't a bonus outstanding that you're wanting to get, you can communicate things materially earlier than the 2 weeks, but this is highly relationship-dependent. At some places, an early conversation would cause them to accelerate getting rid of you, and you'd end up getting 2 weeks worth of work anyway because they want you out. The big concern that causes this behavior is if they think a worker will be a cultural cancer in their last months by lollygagging and inducing other people to lollygag or saying inappropriate things because they have nothing to lose and are dealing with "house money." At other places, there can be more of a dialogue even months in advance (we're 2.5 months out from July). All very group dependent, and you have to know your own situation.

In any case, try to transition well. Work reasonably hard. Treat people nicely. People remember beginnings and endings and often gloss over the middle, so make the ending good. Your colleagues are probably ambitious people who will do good things in life, so it's a good idea to be on good terms with them as they percolate through the business world.

EDIT: Other people would likely point out that this juncture could be a good time to travel somewhere fun, so you could accommodate for such weeks as you see fit.
