Industrial Engineering and Finance
I have been interested in pursuing a job in investment banking since my freshman year of high school and I'm now finally an incoming freshman at Auburn university. I am curious of what you guys think of this idea and if anyone has other suggestions, PLEASE SHARE! I am thinking of Majoring industrial engineering and minoring finance. Auburn is obviously not a target school but they have a fantastic engineering program and I can handle the math that comes along with it. Would having an IE major and minor in finance diversify me from the massive crowd of finance majors in a good way..... or bad. IE would make me much more qualitative but I am not sure of its usefulness in an IB position. I'm extremely passionate about my career path and would like to set myself up the best I can for the future. please share your inputs!
