Insight on Houlihan Lokey - Consumer, Food & Retail - NYC

Have an upcoming interview with this group and was wondering if anyone had any insight into the CFR group in NYC regarding deal flow, culture, exit opps and comp. Also, does anyone know if the group does their own modeling? This is for an experienced Analyst role.

Don't have a ton of insight in NY specifically but I know a few guys that work in CFR in Chicago (where the main guys for that group are). It's certainly a hard-working group where you will put in a lot of hours, but they have excellent deal flow and work on great transactions. Exit opportunities are really strong and comp is great. However, it is a bit of a sweatshop so be prepared for that. Also, the members of the team are generally easy to get along with (though i'm a bit biased given that they are my friends).
