Interview Questions - Urgent
In interviews, am I supposed to say "FYE-nance" or "FIH-nance"?? I know I've heard both, but I can't really figure out when to use one versus the other.
A few of my teachers told me that the banks coming to interview us on campus are big on professional appearance, and I would hate to get dinged for using the wrong word.
Help?
bump
I seriously doubt anyone cares how you say it, but I say FYE-nance.
I say FYE-nance too. Unless I'm joking, in which case I say FIH-nance.
Depends on the context. You're a FIY-nance major. You're interested in leveraged FIH-nance. The pros & cons of FIH-nancing an acquisition certain ways are...
Yep, nail on the head from Raptor. To be clear, "FIH-nance" is "fih-NANCE," I think, but we're both telling you the same thing.
bump, I just can't figure this out!
LOL
Damn, I got trolled hard. Well done.
Yup, same here. Well done.
Thanks
FI-nance as in "fix me a drink jeeves" not fih-nance as in "fit perfectly well when i tried it on at the mall in piscataway"
Both are fine, a place that would ding you over the hard or soft I in finance isn't a place you want to work. Personally I use both depending on context, but if anyone ever gives a shit, it's a sign that they suck.
You've got bigger fish to fry though - this wasn't urgent by a long stretch. If you end up getting hired somewhere, I wish I could be a fly on the wall the first time you decide to send your MD an "urgent" e-mail.
Ok, so what would be an example of an urgent email? Just curious in case I need to send something and I'm not sure if it's urgent or not.
can i ask a question? My interviewer asked me why i parted my hair on the left since the convention at his firm is the right, will this be an auto-ding?
Can't wait to hear how you pronounce EBITDA
Voluptatem unde aut enim sit ut. Atque eos itaque quidem. Quibusdam suscipit ut sunt voluptate vel eum earum doloribus.
