Inventory & Asset Valuation Analyst
Anyone here that had some experience as an Asset & Inventory Valuation Analyst? The role is basically valuing all assets on the balance sheets of businesses in Industrial, Retail, Consumer industries for asset based lending purposes and for distressed investing purposes. Competitor and Industry research is also part of the role and you will required to communicate with clients and visit their businesses (small to large businesses).Could this type of position lead into business valuation or Corporate Banking/Credit Analysis type role if I took it for 2 years while completing my CFA (just passed level 1)? Keep in mind the firm I am talking about has a business valuation arm as well but they are not hiring for it at the moment. What are the exit opportunities for such roles?
