Investment Banking to B School?
Incoming BB IBD analyst here. Still have one semester to go at university so now considering if I should get a GMAT in case I need to go to B school to get an MBA one day.
My long term goal is to stay in IB or go to PE, and I know it’s standard for analysts to go to PE in two/three years without MBA. So will I ever need an MBA someday to do what I want to do?
I am considering this just b/c some schools have deferred MBA programs so I may get GMAT now and try (if I really need an MBA).
