Go in, meet the analysts, shoot the shit, and don't be a weirdo? The worst interactions are the ones that seem transactional. Just meet the crew, have a good time and follow up afterwards with any team members that you got along with.
Things to do when you meet the analysts:
Don't ask what deals they are on - it's confidential info Don't bring up modeling, your student run fund returns, or ask boring questions about excel. They've been staring at a screen for 90 hours they need a mental break.
Do Ask what school they went to (if it's non target with a decent sports team you have an in) and give them a hard time about their rival. Ask what they miss about school (to get them reminiscing) Ask about the group dynamic, all work and no play, any fun Christmas parties? Ask which are they favorite MDs to work for? Joke about apartments, and life outside of work. Ask about A-A promote even if you aren't interested. Ask about which Analysts would be good/fun mentors during SA.
You want to come off with some joy, energy, genuine interest about them for them to want to work next to you. Don't be a cold and weird machine.
Thanks.
All the advice you've received thus far is complete garbage and did not even properly answer your question.
Open confrontation will trigger over-powering resistance. Thus the key to victory is the ability to use surprise tactics. - Sun Tzu
You must schedule a time to come in, but instead arrive the day before. This will catch them off-guard. But you will not meet them head-on, where you will be greeted by the receptionist and she will inform the group. No, you have to pop out under the VP's desk, which can be done by coming even earlier, the day before and following the janitor inside the building. The best plan of attack is a surprise attack that leaves your target with zero exits.

Meeting Bankers at Office (Originally Posted: 12/20/2015)
I have been networking heavily and will be meeting with some Managing Directors at a BB and a couple MMs at their offices this week. Should I expect them to grill me on my resume or will it be more of a get-to-know-each-other chat? How should I dress? It is important to note that I am a sophomore.
Thank You. I needed a good laugh today.
Dress in a suit and tie. They probably won't grill you on your resume. But they will be evaluating you the entire time. Act professional, courteous, and engaged. Don't be too laid back, but don't be too formal either. Be interested, and ask good questions about their lives/deals.
Most important thing is to come across as a normal guy. Show them that you understand the business (if you do, that is), but don't go overboard with it. Give these guys a break from their work. They'll appreciate you for that. Focus less on trying to get a job and more on just building a relationship and getting to know them as people.
