Is it reasonable to network in high school?

I'm currently a high school student interested in a career in finance, banking in particular. I was wondering if networking in high school was reasonable, or if starting this early would be futile, since I have limited knowledge in finance.

I would reach out to boutiques in your city or around your area and just ask if you can have a chat in person over some coffee or something; cant hurt I would probably lie and say I was a freshman or taking accountint classes at community college or something though.

It's definitely reasonable. Like someone else said, hit up some boutiques and don't be picky. Anything legit for a freshman internship will stand out and can be a huge leg-up.

Some people say it's overkill to start thinking about IB this early but I remember tons of kids doing STEM internships before college that they earned during HS through partnership programs and stuff.
