Is it still possible for me to break in?

I'm a rising junior at a non-target HS in metro atlanta. I am working on getting into a target school but I most likely will end up at IU Kelley, Georgia Tech, SMU, Boston University, or UT Austin if I am lucky. I am also considering going to BYU and converting to Mormonism. I know that recruiting starts early but I'd love to have a career in high finance which most reliably starts with IB, and I'm just wondering if it is still possible for me to break in to IB if I'm starting so late as I dont think my college application is competitive enough for target schools (mainly my extracurriculars). This isn't a troll post and I really would like some advice or counsel. Thank you.

I knew I wanted to go into IB when I was 6 years old - my junior kindergarten teacher asked the class to draw a picture of their dream job and I sketched out a portrait of bill ackman. Freshman year of high school was when I did a paper LBO with a divestiture for the first time. Fast forward to today and I still ended up at UBS

TLDR: it's too late for you

Can confirm SMU Alts does really well, but it’s very competitive now
