Whats the difference between this group and global corporate banking or is it the same? Because JPM puts CCBSI under commercial banking and CIB is the institutional side? The description sounds very much overlapping. Thanks.
Primary difference is client size - CIB generally covers clients >$2B in revenue while CCBSI focuses on the $500mm - $2B space (though they cover larger companies at times). Your experience will also vary significantly in CCBSI depending on whether you join an industry group or a regional coverage team (from talking to friends, regional teams are basically Lev Fin at the analyst level). Would recommend asking questions about the specific team that you are interested in.
