To make a memorable impression during your call with the BofA MD, focus on thoughtful, tailored questions that demonstrate your research and genuine interest. Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some killer questions you can ask:
Avoid generic or easily researchable questions, and steer clear of topics like compensation or exit opportunities. Instead, focus on engaging the MD in a meaningful conversation about their experiences and insights.

say something batshit crazy. he will remember you.
How many divorces have you had
How much does your average ski trip cost
Can you recall all of the analysts' names in your team?
lmao
say something about immigrants and h1-bs, you have a 50% of it hitting
Since no one has given you legitimate answers, I’ll try to help. What always helped me when I was in your position is to ask about career progression and ask for genuine advice. This should be the focus of all your questions when you are interviewed/networking with an MD.
I once asked an MD when I was on a networking call about a deal that was in the news he was working on. He told me, “Yeah I could tell you more about that, but it wouldn’t help you and you wouldn’t understand what I’m talking about.” He just wanted to give me advice on the things I should be doing to get my foot in the door.
A similar thing happened during 2 superdays I had for SA recruiting. In all of these instances, asking for genuine advice and asking good follow-ups about their role in the bank and their career progression is a good rule of thumb.
Thanks mate
