Lateraling from Corporate Coverage to IB Coverage
Hi everyone! I'm currently an Analyst at a European bank in the US in Coverage, which sits in the Corporate Banking side (covering metals and energy). I enjoy that the work is focused on relationship-building, but find that it lacks a lot of the technical aspects. I'm thinking of potentially trying to transition to a role thats also Coverage but on the IB side. Has anyone ever made this switch? Would this be doable? Currently brushing up on my technicals and modeling. Thank you!
