no updates, just that there will be a second round phone/ possible video interview, then a virtual superday. Unsure when we'll hear back after first round

my dad is actually seeing a Lazard recruiter lol. Apparently they’re wrapping up diversity recruiting, and will start the process ~August. however if you have another offer they can expedite the process according to her

Can someone from Lazard please give some insight on the Lazard NY IB non-diversity timeline? Is it worth it to wait and decline other offer/ how big are the analyst class cuts?

Timeline is pushed back and a TBD, probably will kick off in mid to late August or September. Is increasingly looking like we won't be able to bring kids in for an in-person superday (sucks for everyone involved). The Analyst class cuts are nonexistent, mostly only Associates and VPs got cut last August, so SA classes will stay the same size. As to any other offer you got, that's a personal decision to make...I ended up letting an offer to a MM expire and keep recruiting and it worked out but mileage will vary. If you are from a non-target you may want to accept (can't endorse anything explicitly here). Good luck

Spoke to a friend at Lazard NY, he said that HR is pretty small and their focus right now is on making the experience for the current SAs as good as possible, that's part of why they're not gonna kick off recruiting till Aug/Sep.
