Learning to Code?

I have a 6 or so month gap between graduating UG and going into IB FT in a TMT group. I've always wanted to learn how to code and in the future I want to be a tech entrepreneur so I think it'd be helpful to at least know the basics. Planning on traveling but learning code for maybe 20-30 hours a week.

How long would it take to learn the basics of Java, C/C++, Python? Any online sources that are good?

Plenty of threads here. Or maybe go to Blind.
don’t start with Java. Start with Python. Syntax is cleaner.
You can go for paid choices like Codeacademy, or do an MIT Python course. Then dig deeper. I’ve never done a coding Bootcamp since never had the time.

Persistency is Key

Start with simple Python and maybe learn how to use a few packages in machine learning. That will be far more applicable to any potential use of code you may have than anything you might learn in Java. Java also isn't great considering syntax.

Start with Leetcode and some of the problems listed in the Educative link below (but obv don't pay for subscription, just look up problems listed online and do all of them).
