Lesser Known Excel Shortcuts
I've been working in IB for long enough that I feel like I know a lot of the more mainstream keyboard shortcuts but am always astounded by some of the less typical keyboard shortcuts that I find and am wondering what else is out there. For example, I've been using Alt + H + B + S to add borders on all sides and Alt + H + B + N to remove them which is pretty convenient. But, I've just learned that I can do Control + Shift + 7 to add surrounding borders and Control + Shift + - to remove them. What are some other similar shortcuts that are super helpful and don’t follow the more typical + Alt + insert keys format?
Press Ctrl + F + U
alt + a + c (resets filters) is quite nice

Alt + Q is all you need.
Alt + E + S + T : basically copies a format of one cell to another cell

More intuitive imo
Obviously a super nitpicky point, but Alt+E+S opens Paste Special one key fastest than Alt+H+V+S. Also the former can be done very quickly with one hand since the keys are right next to each other, while the latter needs two hands or a stretch.
I think that Shift F10 is slept on.
Isn't this just hitting the menu key? I have a dedicated menu key right next to my right Alt.
Most keyboards don't have a menu key next to the R-ALT button!
On like normal keyboards. My team uses mechanical keyboards and the one I got doesn't have that key.
Very much agree. I do a lot of shift + f10 + d on pivot tables to open up the field list.
F4 to repeat most recent action
Shift + F8 to select non-adjacent cells (same as ctrl+clicking)

Alt + A + S + S: sorts
Alt J P I S to remove backgrounds on logos. Lifechanger tbh.
Alt + E + K. Manage links.
Can find some crazy workbook links sometimes. One banker I work with somehow always brings in links from old deals. Blows my mind
Ctrl + [ takes you to the cells that are being referenced in a formula
Ctrl + ] shows what other cells in your sheet are referencing your current cell
ALT + H + D + S = Deleting a selected tab.
