Lincoln International VOG 2026

I noticed that applications opened up for the US valuation & opinions group. Does anyone have info on the team for nyc or chicago offices. What their interview process is like and the office culture. And if recruiting has already begun.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information available about the 2026 Valuation & Opinions Group (VOG) recruiting process or team details for Lincoln International's NYC or Chicago offices. However, here are some general insights from previous discussions:

  1. Interview Process: Lincoln International has been known to include logic/IQ tests as part of their recruiting process, which is relatively rare in the industry. This might still be applicable for the VOG team, so be prepared for such assessments.

  2. Office Culture: Culture at Lincoln International can vary significantly by office and group. For example, some groups like Industrials, TMT, and Healthcare are regarded more favorably compared to others like Consumer. It's recommended to research and network with current or former employees to get a better sense of the specific culture in NYC or Chicago.

  3. Recruiting Timeline: Historically, Lincoln International has had structured recruiting processes, and some positions may fill quickly. If applications have opened, it's likely that recruiting has already begun, so it's advisable to apply as soon as possible.

If you need more detailed or updated information, networking with professionals in the VOG team or reaching out to HR at Lincoln International could provide additional clarity.

walk dcf and comps fast. build wacc clean. defend terminal value. tie drivers back to the balance sheet.
know what fairness opinions and purchase price allocations look like at a high level. etc.

I got my invite for a super day on Friday. They are probably still going through interviews. I am waiting for them to get back to me about scheduling but I am assuming they are doing interviews all week.

Don't know about the AN1 interview process but know someone higher up in the bullpen. Office culture is collegial but relatively sweaty for valuation. Hours can spike and weekend work/late nights is not uncommon for the 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after quarter end.

Decent placements into Chicago debt funds from what I have heard.
