London recruiting in the 90s/2000s
I was hoping to find out how different London recruiting was in the 90s compared to now. From people I’ve spoken to it seems like it was a completely different game. I’ve heard of non targets getting offers from random networking but also that classes were dominated by Oxbridge. This leaves me with a few questions.
- Were analyst/intern classes all target students?
- Has the list of targets changed since then? Have places like Durham gotten weaker as DEI hiring has increased?
- Did they really give out offers just from networking?
