Looking to lateral - TD Cowen Tech or UBS Tech
Question above since there's open positions right now for both firms - need input as to which firm as the better deal flow

Career Resources
cowen tmt is highly respected, they're paying out huge bonuses right now, and UBS seems like a mess currently. easy choice for me
Cowen tech has great exits into growth and some decent MM PEs like HIG, L Catterton
On top of better pay and more street cred for that group in particular
UBS tech is a mess right now
Even if UBS tech were solid like it was a couple years ago, Cowen TMT does more m&a and is generally better
ubs tech does constant pitching and culture is down in the gutter - would go with cowen tmt
cowen and it's not particularly close
Td cowen, no doubt. I’m at ubs right now, and a former colleague of mine moved there. Said that deals there are way more complex since they do a lot of public company M&A compared to ubs. Plus, they’re just way more active overall. Most juniors in ubs tech haven’t worked on a sell-side that closed, so they don’t really have the skill set to lateral
Is Communications, Media (legacy TD) stronger than Cowen’s tech team? or would you say equal strength/deal flow
CMT does larger deals and works with data centers and bigger clients (verizon, tmobile), tech has more activity and better growth exits.
Cowen > UBS tech right now, not much of a debate
