Lying But Got Interview (Barclays)
Hey all, I recently lied about working at CIBC/BMO in investment banking as an intern. But with that on my resume, I got a r1 with Barclays.
Should I tell my interviewers? I will definitely sound convincing because I had one of my banking buddies coach me.

If true, you are fucked. Background checks are actually done and banks communicate with each other, you can't straight up lie about internships or jobs. Chances of a rescinded offer are 100%, know some folks who had it happen to them for our firm. It's just very stupid to do.

Even if you receive an offer, every bank runs background checks and will verify where you worked and in what function, so offer would be likely rescinded
