Math Major in Banking?

Currently a math major at a semi-target school. Doing my SA at a MM bank (TD, Lincoln, Piper, Harris Williams). Is it worth it to continue with a math major? Not sure if I want to stay in IB long term and definitely want to go to Business School or VC or possibly HF if I continue down the math route.

Is it worth it to continue my major? Thinking more long-term (M7 MBA, VC, HF). Pursuing math will also lower my GPA (probably will graduate with 3.5-3.7, 3.7-3.8 is likely best case scenario). Will MBAs care about my GPA if they see I was a math major / had harder courses?

It's pretty late to switch into a different major and I genuinely enjoy learning math but I know I'm not the best at it (would probably never get a PhD / even be able to). Insights?

Yes, while you won’t use most math from your degree unless you pursue the quant route or similar, your GPA indicates you’re doing pretty well already. The problem-solving skill set and math background will put you levels ahead other candidates. Honestly recommend just taking an investments course (or read the Bodie textbook) and a corp fin class and you’ll be set. Derivatives and fixed income as well.
