MBA necessary for high finance?
Hey all, I’m a hs senior attending a target school this fall. It will be expensive so I’m just wondering if it’s necessary to get an elite mba (ivy and other top tiers) to further my career. I’m planning to do IB but that could change. Is a good undergrad enough? Thanks
MBA not necessary for IB unless you are doing a career switch

LMAO look at this kid's post history I'm actually crying.
Edit: Homie's comments are even funnier lmao. He tried giving advice to a 23 year old about school, and he's still in hs.
love how you point out that me giving advice is funny instead of actually saying what’s wrong with my reasoning. That’s even funnier lmao.
I think his attempt at reasoning against taxing the rich was even funnier.
aren’t you a bit too old to be trash talking undergrads? Real classy lol go back to work
I feel bad for whatever team the high schooler ends up on.
No
No, waste of time and money. Don't do it, stay in industry and earn 100k+ a year instead of paying in ~40k+.
Boi if you only making $100k+ a year in finance while skipping out on your MBA years you’re messing up somewhere.
I was speaking in general, entry level terms, but agreed.
You're making it sound like 100k + finance jobs are given out like cotton candy in the MBA years. Not true at all.
For what it is worth, you sound like you’ll fit in well at NYU Stern with that hardo attitude
