MBA or Career Change?
I've been working in accounting for approximately 3-4 years (Big 4); however I desperate to make the move into finance. I'm conflicted on whether I should pursue my MBA or get a finance work experience under me for a year and then make the move to MBA. My concern is the exit opportunities out of a Finance degree MBA with no prior finance work experience. I've heard both sides.. that 1.) many enroll into MBA to make the career switch and 2.) MBA doesn't guarantee you entering the finance field. Does anyone have thoughts or suggestions?
