Menlo Park & Palo Alto Banks - Where to live?

Hi all,

I’m an incoming analyst at one of the tech banks NOT in SF (MS, EVR, BAML, CVP).

With the WFH situation unclear at the time of my start date, do any you guys at any of these banks have any recommendations on where to live? Where do you currently live and what is your bank’s current situation with WFH?

Thank you so much in advance.

I’m in the exact same situation. I was originally looking (before COVID) for stuff more in East Palo Alto because it’s cheaper. I know that it used to have a really poor reputation, but it’s gotten a lot better over the last decade.

In terms of your other question, I’ve been told that we plan to be in person for FT 2021 in June, but I’m not sure what to believe given how much uncertainty exists with everything still.
