Midwest ib?

I’ve done several networking calls with people in both ny and in chi.

Seemed like the ones from chi were a lot more easygoing and relatively laid back. Conversations were more casual compared to a few I’ve had with analysts in ny where people sounded busy and in a rush, or were simultaneously working while doing the call.

For those working in midwest, is culture more relaxed?

Midwest banker - people are generally more laid back than NYC bankers. But it doesn't mean you have less work / lower expectations.
