Miller Buckfire, Millstein, Evercore RX

I was wondering if anyone has info on Miller Buckfire, Millstein & Co, and Evercore RX? Comp, Lifestyle, Culture, RX Reputation, and Exit Opps information would be really helpful. What's the process look like for one of these shops? I go to a top 20 school and i'm interested in RX and want to spread a wide net. My school has some BB recruiting but prestigious boutiques don't really come to campus so it's tough to get on the radar for RX recruiting.

I already tried looking at the top tier guys like HL RX & PJT RX but it seems like they only take summa cum laudes from top finance schools like Wharton/Stern so I really don't think I have a shot at the top caliber shops.

What other shops should I look?

I wouldn't go by the Rx league tables though they give you a good idea of the playing field. A lot of restructurings aren't listed in the league tables.

OP, Miller Buckfire has only 5 or 6 MDs left. Henry Miller isn't even at the firm anymore. All of them left to Centerview or Millstein. It is a shadow of its former self.

I would second what Trader Timmy said, look into Moelis and Rothschild. Ducera still has to establish its brand and culture even though Michael Kramer is a beast.

However apply everywhere, you should cast a wide net and play the numbers game.

Thanks anyone have an idea what Evercore and Millstein are like?

Also what kind of exits can RX analysts at these firms expect? Would love to go to a distressed fund or HF.

Will they the same quality as what the HL / PJT / LAZ analysts get?
