MM/boutique ibanking 1st year analyst salary/bonus? negotiation?
Looking into a couple of offers, one in IBanking, others consulting, etc. Was wondering what is considered "market" in terms of salary and bonus for a middle market or boutique Investment Bank for a first year analyst (right out of undergrad). And are there generally opportunities to negotiate? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Short version: smaller banks are much more variable in terms of compensation
in my experience, outside of NY, SF etc ,at small 10 - 30 person firms, pay is 5k sign, 50-55k base and 10k - 20k bonus.
5k negotiation room. I was laughed at when i through out 70k base.
MMs usually are close to street so a true MM i.e. Piper Jaffray, Suntrust should be 70K base, 10k sign on and a decent bonus close to BBs. By boutique do you mean like Moelis, Evercore, Lazard or 10-30 man shops. Pay is very variable there as sk8247365 said.
