Morgan Stanley - Media & Communications NYC

Seeking updated insights into MS' Media & Communications group in NYC?

- Obviously a top group within MS and one of the leading franchise covering the sector

Interested in learning about the juniors experience. As MS has its separate M&A group, does the Media & Comm. group handle the full M&A, LevFin, etc. process within the group?

Analyst/Associate experience in regards to team morale and growth opportunities

Appreciate your contributions. Thanks.

As you pointed out, a top group on the street with GS and other industry-focused boutiques like LionTree and Raine. Sweaty, long hours, but culture amongst juniors are tight from what I heard. Exit is top-notch (slightly worse than M&A) mainly because it's one of few groups within the firm that holds a pen in models with GPUG (power & utility group).
