Ngl and idc about monkey shit but the groups reputation has gone down substantially. What used to be an undisputed top 3 group on Wall Street is now being pushed away for most top EB M&A, RX, and classics groups. I know people routinely taking any Evercore / PJT / Centerview / GS group and in some cases even a MOE LA / PWP HC / LAZ RX because the comp is just so much materially higher.

Morgan Stanley has criminally underpaid the juniors for years now and it’s disgusting given the hours they work / deals they close. A quick LinkedIn search shows the associates at MS M&A all lateraled from worse banks and subpar educational institutions. It is what it is.
