Need help for first day on the job!

Hey guys,

So here’s the situation I am faced with.. I am about to start a full time job as an analyst at a bank and naturally I want to make a good first impression. The whole personality thing is not a problem for me, but I want to have the right “look”. The kind of look that people can tell I’ve put in the hours at first glance. So the seemingly obvious conclusion is to wear shirts that are down to their last thread ripe for a blowout.

The only problem is my mom bought me some really nice (high-thread count) shirts at Nordstrom last week. I need help with figuring out the best way to artificially construct a blowout. I’m thinking maybe rubbing the elbows down with sandpaper or going over it a few times with a razor. Does anyone have experience with this? Any insight would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Could just wear a t shirt and shorts to make it look like you have been in the office since last Sunday
