Need some advice - Transferring to DePaul University (Chicago)

So here is the situation. I am transferring to DePaul University (Chicago), and have 2 years left for my Bachelors in Finance. What is the best route for me into IB, specifically S&T? DePaul helps you find internship in the downtown area. I looked at the form and some employers listed here were; MS, Wachovia, ML. So what is my best route to accomplish my goal?

lol NYCHoops...that's what I was just thinking to myself...!

However, if you are sharp, intelligent and driven, does't matter- Just keep your grades up, make a difference on campus and good things will happen

I agree that ultimately being sharp, intelligent and driven is the key to breaking into IB.

Unfortunately, DePaul isn't very highly regarded, even by Chicago IBanks (BB, MM or Boutique). If you are looking for potential alternatives to Ivy Schools, however, try Michigan, Indiana, UWisc, Illinois or Northwestern. You'll have a better shot at a Chicago bank from one of these schools.
