Just want to check in to see if you guys are also getting an abnormally high amount of emails compared to past recruiting cycles - How many emails are you guys getting a week from students?
Is this because of AI cold emailing/recent obsession and glorification of IB?

From my end, things are way competitive I feel like i need to email more people. Although AI has def made sending emails easier . Its still kinda shit in terms of drafting (sounds a bit too salesman-y, and not personal enough), but for read throughs and syntax checks its genuinely way quicker. Def a single email takes ~1-2mins less, which compounds.
I was wondering if you guys have seen a drop off in quality from prospects, I have friends who are using AI to automate some of it, but im just wondering how good it is..? I still try to legitimately personalise my emails and have my own tone, but it might be a fool’s errand at this point lol.
Definitely have noticed an uptick of emails in the recent weeks. Others saying alot more than last year.
Usually try to read through all of them. Will speak to people who personalized the emails / can tell actually put thought into them.
