Networking into IB after Graduation

Hello all,

Hoping to find some insight into this. I will be graduating in May with a 4.0 from a non-target. I, unfortunately, did not get any IB offers. I will be starting a job with a fed agency (FDIC, OCC, etc.) sometime in June. I am hoping to network myself into IB by next year.

  • Am I still on the same recruiting timeline as juniors and seniors?

  • How long before I can put my fed job onto my resume?

  • How to make it look like I'm not trying to switch my job even before I start?

Any answers to these questions or general advice about networking into IB post-graduation would be helpful. Thank you.
