Networking question: Getting coffee/lunch after a phone call?

Sent my first cold email asking for a phone call. The call is scheduled for later this week. My plan for after the call is to say thanks and ask to meet for coffee/lunch to chat some more. But I'm a bit lost on what to do from there.

During the call, I'd be asking questions about the person's career path and the work they do in their current position, and asking for advice they can give to students like me. I'm worried about coming up with questions to ask during a subsequent coffee/lunch meeting that wouldn't just be the same ones I've already asked. Any tips?

Two cents, but I would not pitch lunch/coffee, unless the conversation is really short and the other person opens that door. I've had people play that card with me and my unspoken reaction is always negative, because I'm not sure (and it sounds like you aren't either) what we're going to talk about that we didn't just talk about. Whoever you're talking to is almost certainly busy, and probably not looking for new friends several years his/her junior.
