Networking with analysts vs. more senior people
How should the questions I ask to people in more senior positions differ from those I ask to analysts when networking? Networking with analysts seems much easier - how did you enter the industry? why did you decide to work for x? what does a typical day look like? etc. Yet, these questions do not seem nearly as applicable to people in higher positions. What should the focus of my questions be for these more senior individuals?
