Picked up some opportunities to do an internship for Merrill Lynch. I can choose from either a NY office or an LA office. I know NY has the Street, but I cannot pass up Cali. Your thoughts?

Ofcourse I am going to L.A. I just wanted to see if it didnt matter that I didnt go to NY for the internship. The recruiter did tell me that the LA internships are easier to get.
ML LA is not very good at all. Not even close to the prestige that ML commands in NYC. You might want to consider that. However, if you're set on LA, good job and good luck!
That's pretty much what I was told. That LA is easier to squeeze into than NY.
