No response after email to schedule interview final round
Passed through multiple rounds and HR reached out to schedule the superday and i had to pick times from multiple days. Haven’t been scheduled yet been 7 business days, followed up twice. What should I do?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here’s how you can handle this situation:
Be Patient but Persistent: It’s not uncommon for HR to take time, especially if they’re coordinating schedules with multiple stakeholders. However, since it’s been 7 business days and you’ve already followed up twice, it’s reasonable to follow up again.
Send a Polite Follow-Up Email: Draft a concise and professional email. Here’s a template you can use:
Subject: Follow-Up on Superday Scheduling Dear [HR Contact's Name], I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to kindly follow up regarding the scheduling of my final round interview (Superday). I understand these processes can take time, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to be considered for this role. Please let me know if there’s any additional information or flexibility needed from my side to assist in scheduling. I remain very enthusiastic about the opportunity and look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and support. Best regards, [Your Full Name] [Your Contact Information]Consider Calling: If you don’t receive a response within a couple of days after your email, consider giving HR a polite call. Sometimes, direct communication can expedite the process.
Stay Professional: Avoid showing frustration or impatience. Companies may have internal delays, and maintaining a positive impression is crucial.
Prepare for the Superday: Use this waiting period to ensure you’re fully prepared for the final round. Review technical questions, behavioral responses, and company-specific details.
By staying proactive and professional, you’ll demonstrate your enthusiasm and commitment to the role. Good luck!
