Can you get NOL's in an asset deal?
Ex. Asset Deal: Company A acquires assets of Company B and achieves a step-up in their tax basis. With accelerated depreciation the company operates at negative net income for a couple years which creates NOL's. Does that logic make sense? Thanks for the help.
