I joined IB earlier this year from a nontarget. For some reason I am getting a lot more LinkedIn messages from Stern kids than any other school, even more than my alma mater. I try to take as many calls as I can but just curious doesnt Stern have a big alum population on the street?
Spoke to some of my coworkers (also from nontarget) and they also experienced the same thing.

Stern kids have the culture of reaching out to people in the industry, and I personally think they push for it too. This is based on my experience interacting with a lot of nyu stern students.
