A few comments - ubs wealth management huh? - Analyzed and conducted market research on the basic materials sector to find opportunities within the equity market --> why waste one whole line on the word market - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION --> add in excel skills, bloomberg\ - seo intern manager --> no idea what u do there. manage 15-20 interns doesnt add value as well, unless you provide me with backup information - try to say what u achieved at the end of every job description. For example --> stocks pitched managed a xx% return over a period of xx years

Thank you very much @Mamypokozang"! Appreciate the comments. I agree with you, I have reduced the amount of bullets from my extracurricular activities and added additional experience from a previous internship.

Do you think that my job description for the Boutique IB firm and Wealth Management sounds good? I wasn't sure if I had enough action and result from those bullet points.

I would think Boutique IB is good. However, for BB wealth management you could elaborate more.

• Analyzed mutual funds by calculating metrics of risk and performance to replace poor performing funds for high net worth individuals --> maybe u made use of models? how complex? any var analysis done or iterations made. and what was the result • Member of financial advisory team that managed over $250m in assets for high net worth individuals--> so wad do you do in the advisory team? what is your value add and how does it show the recruiter taht this point value adds to building your character • Assisted with updating client accounts and financial goal analysis through UBS software --> sounds pretty boring to me this one, unless u can say smth like scenario analysis for my clients and proposed changes to their portfolios. xx% took up my recommendatinos, and netted them a xx% upside compared to their current portfolio in a year/ rebalanced them to suit market condtions.. idk . but im pretty sure you get what i mean right?

Hey man, Class of 2017 here as well. Some helped me on my resume a while ago, and he's from a T2 balance sheet shop (Think WF, SG, BNP) and he told me to elaborate on my Experience Part, and write as little as you can on the Relevant Coursework part. I found this helpful

Persistency is Key

I'd actually suggest shorter descriptions.
People tend to have preconceived notions for what certain companies/positions are involved with, so writing too much seems repetitive since eyes tend to glaze over it. (Mine do)

Then again, I'm a minimalist.

Unfortunately, I did not take the ACT in high school :. My SAT score was also mediocre (1700 - 1750). I do wish I had taken tests more seriously back in high school because I noticed that a lot of applications ask for my previous SAT or ACT scores. I was considering studying and trying to score very high on the GMAT just so I can boost my resume but I've heard that it is a waste of time unless I plan on going to business school right after. At the moment, I'm considering studying for the CFA level 1 while networking to make up for my poor cumulative GPA and wasn't sure if this would be the right move.
