OPT delays in 2019 -- experiences and 2020 predictions?

Hello all - I was fortunate to land an IB SA position at a BB for the summer of 2020. I am, sadly, an international student on an F-1 visa, and thus my college requires me to obtain an OPT to work this summer (CPT is not offered).
Given the OPT wait times of 120+ days during the summer of 2019, I was wondering if there are any international students who went through the painful process of obtaining OPT in 2019? If you have experienced delays, how did your company react?.. And does anybody have any predictions for what the OPT situation might look like in 2020?
Landing a BB IB internship as an international student was hard as hell, and I obviously don't want to lose it because of OPT and possible delays. I appreciate any advice!
