I'm specifically asking for JPM, but some Boutique Banks as well. Most Super Day interviews are done online but I believe it would be beneficial to do it in-person (more personable). Have companies only been doing Super Day online, or was there an in-person option as well.

Most places will not do them in person give how easy and cheap virtual recruiting is now... or if it is in-person you will be told that, it's not an option.
It's a big benefit to those who are in-person vs. virtual (I'm sure even in college you're aware you connect more with those in the room vs on the Zoom meeting) and it's a massive expense to fly everyone out, put them up in hotels, pay for meals etc. So they're not going to give people who live close or can afford the flights a huge advantage when they've been doing virtual just fine for years.
Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that the format of Superdays can vary depending on the bank and the current circumstances. For instance, JP Morgan has been known to notify candidates about Superdays via email, but the specifics about whether these are in-person or virtual aren't mentioned.
As for boutique banks, there's a mention of Union Square Advisors conducting their final round of interviews over the phone, with no virtual Superday.
However, it's important to note that these examples are from past years and the current situation may be different, especially considering the impact of the pandemic on in-person events. It would be best to reach out directly to the respective banks for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

I had the option to do virtual vs. in person, and I'd pick in-person every time. You can showcase charisma or other non-verbal cues that can give you a leg up for others that interviewed virtually
