PC to IB
Wanted some thoughts on this potential track I’m thinking about. Started as an AN a few months ago at a MM PC firm (Blue Owl, Antares, Barrings) and realized that I want to go into PE but heard it’s notoriously difficult from PC especially MM PC.
Was thinking about a move to IB in a coverage group (industrials, hc, tech) or FSG. Wanted to see if it makes sense/feasible to move to IB at a BB/EB from my current seat so I can recruit for UMM PE roles. Let me know if this move makes sense or even possible. Also, would I be considered for on-cycle if I lateral as a AN1?
