Please help!! Am I wasting time at my current firm?

I recently quit B4 to join a very small regional boutique m&a advisory shop. I couldn't stand working at B4 since I wanted to do actual m&a but due to shitty market it was tough to find good exit ops so I though "fuck it"  and jumped on the first opportunity to leave.

Firm I currently work at is tiny - 6 people total, deals range 10 - 50 mil. anything close to 100 mil. is considered a jackpot. They work on sell-side and buy-side mandates and typically advise on all aspects of the deal i.e. CIM prep. and dist., selecting parties for DD, prep. draft SPA, receiving reviewing binding offers, selecting final candidates etc..

My big concern is if I want to lateral to MM IB in larger city or just a larger advisory shop will recruiters/ hiring managers significantly discount my experience due to low deal size? (even if I have good grasp regarding the m&a process albeit on lower scale?). In addition, due to low deal size, could my experience be perceived as corporate broking rather than m&a?

Hence, what do you think are my chances converting this experience to something bigger in the future? Do I have any chance or maybe I should've stayed at B4 and waited for a better op.?

Thanks!
