Please Knock Some Sense Into Me

Currently seriously considering turning down a £100k+ FT offer a year for an offer that pays less than twice that for preftige reasons.

Those are entry level positions and I know I should not care about the money at this stage but something feels off.

My Corporate Finance professor once suggested to just pick the job that pays the most, as most of us know the concept of the time value of money. 

I think I would agree with him in this case, especially since the difference you are telling is enormous. Perhaps you could enter in a later stage in the more prestigious place. Given the pay of the first one, I am assuming it is also quite prestigious.
