Been putting a lot of time into considering attempting to make the pivot from Illiquid Portfolio Valuation into IB. I currently work for one of the larger PE/HF's in the VC/Growth Equity space and am a year of out college. Within that role, I work closely with the management teams of our holdings as well as leverage DCF, Multiples, Black Scholes, and CSE for my fair-value valuation purposes.
With that all being said, what should be my process for going about this pivot (assuming C-19 subsides and former hiring practices resume)? As well as what would be the most relevant/appropriate niche within IB given my experience in Illiquids and formerly Private Credit (internship)
