Prediction factors of success for start-up.

Hi all, hope you're doing well.

Quick question - according to you, what are the key factors (quantitative & qualitative) that one usually overlooks when determining the likelihood of a start-up being financially successful in the next 3-5Y?

For context, currently VP/Project Lead/Engagement Manager (~140K$ yearly total comp') at MBB in Europe (UK&I) with 5Y experience in strategy consulting and am in discussion to join as a co-founder a Fintech start-up (<10M$ capital raised YTD) but would love to hear your insights in how to objectively evaluate whether it’s the right move or not (e.g., looking at profiles of co-founders especially # successful start-ups founded, sold, etc.).

Many thanks in advance!
