PU&I Exits - only infrastructure PE or general too

Hi I'm an SA at a BB this summer. I was placed in the PU&I group a couple weeks ago. It's one of the more highly regarded groups at the bank and within the space from what I've been told, but it's not Barclays PU&I. I'm hoping to exit into PE, but not at an infrastructure fund. Is this doable or will it be an uphill battle? I primarily chose this group as it was the only group that create their own models(other than FIG) as the rest outsource to the M&A group. I know it's attainable to go to regular PE, but I just want to know if PU&I will be held against me or not.

Lol this is RBC. Congrats on placing in their strongest industry group though.

Please don't make this another RBC troll thread. Regardless of the bank, curious to hear the response
