PUI Outlook and Exits

All, I wanted to get some insight into people who have done an analyst stint in PUI. I have been told that my group is decent but I have no context as to what the landscape looks like.

Some questions I had were: What are the banks who have groups with strong exits? How possible it is to exit to generalist buyout? Would you recommend pursuing a lateral to a different coverage group? How transferable is the skill set that you develop as a PUI analyst?

Thanks so much!

Bump.

I believe PUI is super interesting from a banker's perspective (modeling heavy, currently quite active, relatively large transactions) but am not interested in private infrastructure exits.

I don't think that it limits your exit options: industry expertise is not that relevant on lower levels and you'll be an absolute modeling legend after 2 years. Only issue might be how you are perceived by headhunters
