PWP ADVISORY PREP - NYC

Does anyone know how competitive it was to get this program? The email says it guarantees a first round but I've seen tons of people posting that they got in. Unsure how selective it was this year and if it really means anything.

I'm referring to the advisory prep acceptance email sent out today. In the email it says all participants get a first round for the summer 2026 internship.

Yeah man when I interviewed I woke up at 5 am and I immediately chugged a gallon of milk and said “oorah” I then sat on the M&I technicals until my eyes started to hurt. After that I put my full suit on and ran a marathon. I then ran to the interviews at my business school to show them who is boss. I showed up a little sweaty but that is what PWP wants. My shoes started to hurt and feet started to swell. As I sitting in the waiting room trying to answer the questions “why do I smell?”. I came up with the best answer I was reenacting Rocky. They banker laughed then he asked me the most treacherous question of all walk me through DCF. I completely blanked and passed out in the middle of interview. When it got to questions I asked the banker “what keeps you up at night?”. He stared at me and said “spit, blood, and pride in maximizing shareholder value”. I didn't get the job but man I look up to that banker.

p sure its a guaranteed first-round. Does anyone know how difficult the first round will be? people saying bc its a diversity program its easier but I think that's BS
