Question for all CFA takers while employed

Hi Everyone,

First post here. Curious as for those who took the CFA (any level), did you have your company sponsor your registration and exam fees? If so, and you passed, did you stay at your current company or started looking/landed another role elsewhere? If that worked out for you, how did you bring it up to your manager/boss?

Thanks for any insights!

It is really going to differ by firm. My shop paid for all fees and study materials for all levels and a bootcamp for level 2. i then immediately started prepping for business school applications right after taking it.

Some firms will enforce a commitment before they pay for such things to ensure they get some use out of you. Some won't, It's best to just ask.
